Inspiration:

I wanted to share a bit about the inspiration behind my landscape artwork. When I create these pieces, I often find myself transported back to my childhood and the cherished memories I made with my late father, Harry. He took me on many excursions, where we would hunt and harvest small game, and those experiences deeply influenced my appreciation for the natural world.

I also vividly remember our house in Waskaganish, which was situated right next to the Rupert River. Many mornings, before we embarked on our journeys, I would witness the most beautiful sunrises over the river. These powerful, serene images have stayed with me and continue to inspire the landscapes I paint today.
