ABOUT THE ARTIST

Bada Jean

Bada Jean is a Nêhiyaw (Cree), Dene, and Welsh visual artist from Treaty 6 and 7 territory, now based in Chilliwack, BC. Through painting and digital illustration, she incorporates traditional imagery, Cree syllabics, and language into her work as a way of reconnecting with culture and inspiring others to do the same.
