Beaded Feather Earrings

Hand-beaded feather earrings by Cree artist Melina Neeposh of Mistissini. Each feather is stitched from small cylinder beads, with a gold quill running down the centre from top to tip.

The colours shift along the feather, from cream at the top through dusty rose and plum markings to a black tip with stepped edges. They hang from gold-tone fish hook ear wires with clear backs.
