Alexandria Coon
Alexandria Coon, an Eeyou/Eenou iskuwaau from Mistissini, is a self-taught artist known for her ribbon skirts, shirts, and winter parkas. Deeply inspired by Cree culture, land, and women artists in her community, she shares her skills in sewing, beading, crochet, and painting with youth, earning recognition such as the Cree Arts Woman of the Year (2021).
