This handcrafted tamarack goose decoy features a classic folded-wing design, reflecting a traditional and grounded form. The wings are laid close to the body, creating a smooth, streamlined silhouette that emphasizes balance and proportion.
Carefully shaped by hand using tightly woven tamarack twigs, the piece highlights the natural texture of the material and the precision of the maker. The upright posture and extended neck give it a strong, steady presence.

Today, they continue as cultural artworks that carry forward knowledge, craftsmanship, and connection to the land.
