Poinsettia Moosehide Beaded Earrings

Poinsettia earrings hand-beaded by Cree artist Melina Neeposh of Mistissini. A red poinsettia with green leaves and a gold bead centre is stitched onto smoked moosehide, and each earring is edged in gold beads.

The warm tan of the moosehide sets off the bright red beads, which makes them a lovely pick for the holiday season. The back of each earring is plain smoked moosehide, and they hang from gold-tone fish hook ear wires with clear backs.
